About Us
Tweed Valley Community Collective (TVCC) was founded with a clear vision—to create meaningful spaces that bring people together, foster learning, and enhance community well-being. Our charity was established to launch our first major project in Peebles, with the goal of developing a community facility that meets local needs. However, our ambitions extend beyond a single development. We aim to expand our efforts across the Tweed Valley, identifying opportunities to create inclusive and sustainable spaces that benefit residents and visitors alike.
As a newly formed charity, we are driven by the belief that strong communities thrive when people have access to shared spaces for education, recreation, and social connection. We are committed to working closely with the community, listening to their ideas, and ensuring that our projects are shaped by the people who will use them. Through collaboration with local organisations, charities, and stakeholders, we strive to create infrastructure that supports long-term growth, accessibility, and engagement.
Creating Spaces, Connecting Lives
TVCC is led by a dedicated team of trustees who bring diverse expertise and a shared passion for community development: Jennifer Misak, Susana Maura-Hoffman, Marc Haslem, Gemma Malby, and Ana Petrusevski. Together, we are committed to turning our vision into reality—starting in Peebles and growing throughout the Tweed Valley.
